Clairemont Elementary School, 155 Erie Avenue, is hosting its 15th Annual Decatur Holiday Marketplace and Café on Friday and Saturday, December 5-6th, 2007. The event, a fundraiser for Clairemont PTA, showcases more than 90 artists and craftspeople selling their wares in a festive setting during the holiday season.
The Café, located in the school's cafeteria, features homemade soups and baked goods, as well as live music from local musicians such as Decatur's favorite Cajun band Hair of the Dog (voted Best of Atlanta 2005 in Creative loafing), bluegrass with Peavine Creek, and holiday mountain music by The Dots.
The Marketplace will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5th, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. p.m. Saturday, December 6th. It is held in conjunction with the Decatur Tour of Homes.
